Ghosts of the forest
Walking through an aspen grove feels like entering a threshold space—somewhere between the physical world and a place just beyond perception. The pale tree trunks, rising like columns of light, have always carried an otherworldly presence for me. In the stillness of the forest, the aspens offer impressions instead of words, as if memories are moving through them on the wind. Ghosts of the Forest is my visual exploration of this sensation, an attempt to translate the fleeting spirit of these trees into an abstract, photographic language. Each image seeks to capture the ephemeral nature of presence—the way aspens shimmer and dissolve into light. Through abstraction, I aim to reveal the hidden pulse of the groves, the intangible echoes that linger in the woods. My hope is that viewers will feel drawn into this quiet mystery and experience the poetry of the forest.
