Nights out
"Let's make a video with a dirt and big bike part - at night!" The idea may sound cool at first. However, it also requires a lot of effort that wouldn't be necessary during the day. The tracks have to be lit in such a way that the riders can see well enough, that they are sufficiently illuminated for the cameras, but also that the surroundings remain invisible. To achieve this, a large lighting system was organized. The first session after a day of shoveling and hauling lights was an adventure. Headlights make it difficult to see if they are not optimally adjusted and ensure that you can't properly judge the radii of the jumps. You were also suddenly completely blinded here and there. But after a few teething problems, our midnight session could begin. Illuminating the sections in the dark forest was certainly one of the biggest challenges during the shoot. Sifting through material during the day, preparing, cycling and then shooting at night. And so it went on for the next 6 days.
