Sudanese model wearing a custom designed robe of many colors. From The Joseph's Collection - a designer couture created by Phylicia Dove of the shop Black Monarchy. The robes embody the African slave diaspora cast in the framework of Biblical Joseph. The model and designer are from a nearby city in Buffalo, New York. Sadly, a white gunman shot and killed 10 Black shoppers in their area supermarket shortly after we had completed our shoot. The racist tragedy left their community in upheaval and despair.
