The special atmosphere of cities at night has always fascinated me, but only recently I have started to integrate the actual inhabitants in my night photography. Mostly as shadows or silhouettes they flit through the image to infuse it with a bit of a cinematic flair. Adding to this are the colorful lights of the city with their sometimes harsh illumination and deep shadows. A study of contrasts, motion and anonymous city life.
